Hieu Quang Pham
Hieu has over eight years of research experience in material synthesis and characterisation, and development focused on cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
Prior to joining InoBat Auto, Hieu was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences within Switzerland, where he developed a series of functional electrolytes for Ni-rich NCM cathodes and a low-cost Co-free cathode material with excellent cycle life. Dr Pham received his PhD in Applied Chemistry from the Chungnam National University, the Republic of Korea, where his research focused on the development of high-voltage and non-flammable electrolytes, and high-voltage binder for high-energy-density Li-ion batteries with high-capacity Li-rich layered oxides and Ni-rich layered oxides (NCMs)-based cathode materials, and studying on high-voltage interfacial and electrochemical reaction mechanisms and interfacial chemistry control for performance enhancement. Hieu has first-authored 12 publications and 5 patents.
